Advanced Order Reporting Updates

Sales By Top Level Folder - Need to run a report by year, season, or type of photography such as school versus sports? There is now an option to run a report by top-level folder. Example: Create a folder for each school season in a particular year and locate all school folders for that season inside this top-level folder. Then navigate to Advanced Order Reporting, set your date range and click Sales by Top Level Folder. You will see a total order count, order sales totals and subtotals for all top-level seasonal folders in your account.

Download Product Sales stats in CSV format - You now have the option to download a CSV file for the following reports: Product by Folder, Products by Price List, Sales by Folder, Sales by Top Level Folder, Sales by Day, Sales by Month, and Order Source.  Click the CSV button in the top right corner of the report to download your CSV file.

Option Reports for Products By Price List - Want to know your most popular background for each product in your price list? Use the new Products By Price List report. If a product has options such as background selection, the options will appear after clicking the green Options link next to each product.

Single email per address filter in scheduled emails.

You will now see a checkbox at the bottom of the page when setting up a scheduled email for "multiple emails per address (one email per gallery/event that matches address)" or "single email per address (one email that links to all galleries/events that match address)."

When the latter option is checked, if an email address is associated to multiple galleries, the email addressee will receive a single email with a link to all associated galleries/events rather than a separate email for each gallery/event.

When the link is clicked from the email, the customer will see a list of links for all galleries associated with that email address. Once one of the links is accessed, the customer will also be able to navigate to the other galleries via a related galleries drop-down inside the selected gallery and associated price list.

Deactivate Event Now

To easily deactivate an event after downloading prepay order data, now a "Deactivate Event Now" link will appear just under the "Download Prepay Data" button after prepay order data is downloaded. If this link is clicked, a confirmation message will appear. If the action is confirmed, the event will be deactivated and you will see the event control panel screen. More information can be found in our help center.

Store imported phone numbers

A new "Store imported phone numbers" setting was added to the "General Marketing Settings". If enabled, phone numbers will be stored upon gallery import and can be used later in triggered text messages for notification purchases (such as yearbook pose deadline reminders). The following import methods can store imported phone numbers: PhotoLynx Imagematch.

Send orders with shipping automatically for queued orders

A new setting labeled "Don't queue orders with shipping" has been added to the "Photographer Information" screen, just below the "Enable Queued Orders feature" setting. If the Queued Orders feature and the "Don't queue orders with shipping" setting are enabled and an order has a shipping fee greater than $0, the order will not be treated like a queued order and it will be sent automatically.

PhotoLynx Flow integration update: Reorder Price List delay

The "Price List Settings" screen now has two new settings labeled "Reorder Price List delay" and "Reorder Price List". If a numeric value is selected for "Reorder Price List delay" and a "Reorder Price List" is selected, the delay value will be used as the number of days after gallery creation when a gallery price list will be changed to the selected Reorder Price List. This feature currently only applies to PhotoLynx Flow uploads.

Show Private Gallery Names

A new "Show Private Gallery Names" setting has been released in the "Gallery & Prepay Settings" screen (accessed from your SimplePhoto Dashboard). Since this only applies to customers who use one of our school shooting software integrations, this setting is only visible if one of the integrations is selected in the "Integrations" screen on the Photographer Control Panel.

When galleries are imported, it is typical that the gallery name is set to be the same text as the gallery password and a "Private Gallery Name" field is set to be the subject's name. By default, the Private Gallery Name only appears in the Photographer Control Panel and on order receipts when purchases are completed. If the "Show Private Gallery Name" setting is enabled, the "Private Gallery Name" value will appear in the shopping cart everywhere the gallery name is expected to appear. Please note: This setting should never be used in conjunction with public galleries when subject names are populated in the Private Gallery Name fields, since this would allow the general public to access all subject names in all public galleries. This setting should only be used when consent has been given by the organization photographed to show subject names in conjunction with a folder level password.
